The Suffolk County Sheriff's Office START Resource Center will once again be hosting its annual Backpack Giveaway on Monday, August 24, from 2:00–6:00 p.m. at the START Resource Center, 200 Glover Drive, Yaphank.
This free community event will provide backpacks and school supplies to students while connecting families with local community organizations and resources.
